My students often express anxiety over playing golf with people of different skill levels. The best way to release this anxiety is through mentoring them on the course. My main focus is to help students be aware of proper etiquette on the course with the other golfers in their group. Once golfers understand these basic elements, they (1) introduce people to the game, (2) play more often, and (3) ultimately have more fun!

I've had four lessons with Gil now. My golf shots have improved greatly especially my chipping. Before I started lessons I sliced my driver, which usually led me into trouble. My direction with my other clubs was sporadic (left/right). The last game I played after completing the lessons I did not slice my driver at all, and my direction with the other clubs was greatly improved, keeping it in green grass. It was an enjoyable round of golf at the Dukes. Stayed out of trouble the entire round, however, distance control with my short irons still needs work. Planning to take additional lessens with Gil. Also, Gil extended the length of my club by an inch which seems to have helped.

After retiring to the beautiful Arizona area a year ago, I found that I continued to struggle with my golf game after 45 years of golfing. I had attended several golf schools in Wisconsin, Texas and Florida to find I still had a glitch with the game. I then had the opportunity to meet Gil through friends of mine and start a fresh approach of my game. After several 18 holes, observation, and instruction Gil brought me to new perspective about my game. At that point I felt I had nothing to lose but to learn more so I could enjoy my game and meet new friends. That is where he has brought me today!

His down to earth teaching approach and instruction has given me the ability to improve my game, enjoy the sport, and take at least 10 strokes off my score. For the first time in many years I am now enjoying my game and feel more accomplished. I highly recommend Gil as a Class A instructor and encourage anyone to the challenge of improving their game.

I started playing golf about 14 yrs ago. I never had a lesson and was just a hacker. I am 73 yrs old and met Gil through my brother-in law. Gil ask me would I be interested in improving my game and we agreed on some lessons and I really needed help. In 3 lessons my game has improved 40% I am able to hit the ball longer and straighter than ever before.

I can not say enough about Gil's ability, knowledge, and understanding for each individual person as far as golf instructors. I would recommend him to anyone looking to become a better golfer or just improve on themselves. He has made the game fun to play with his imparting knowledge of how to hit the ball in every aspectof the game both mentally and physically.

Thanks Gil for taking me from a hacker to a golfer and we are only half way there.. Keep it up....

I started playing golf about 2 years ago once in a while. I started playing continuously since January 2012. I had some indoor lessons before. But my short game was not very good, even my Tee short was not consistent. One day I met Gil when I was playing at Club West. Gil asked me if I would like improve my game give him a call, while he handed me over his business card. Couple of days later I called Gil and we agreed on some lessons. After some lessons I feel a big difference in my golf game. I am able to hit the ball longer and straighter than ever before. and I learn with Gil that golf is not just a game, it is a process of learning to control your mind and body.

I would recommend Gil to anyone looking to become a better golfer or just improve on themselves. He has made the game fun to play with his unique knowledge of how to hit the ball in every aspect of the game.

Thanks for improving my game and we are not done yet. Keep it up.
